Hi Members,

NOTE: THESE PRIVACY SETTINGS APPLY TO THE MAIN AREA OF THE SITE – NOT THIS SIMPLE:PRESS FORUM.  

We have integrated privacy control measures for your profile. As you can see below in the images, you can set your privacy.

First – in the Main Member Area (the BuddyPress area) click on your avatar icon or your user name. Note: We are NOT talking about inside of the old member forum, the Simple:Forum. Also note that your icon or avatar may not show yet. It is not automatically moved into the main member area.

Once you click on it, you see this info on the page:

Choose "Privacy" above and you get this page:

Your choices are as follows:

• All Users
• Logged in Users
• Friends (those you friended officially on our site)
• Members of These Groups (opens a box to choose groups)
• These Users Only (Not recommended as it opens up a box of 1000 member names to scroll through. You would choose by selecting those you choose.)
• Only Me.  (Odd choice, but you can make it.)

You have similar controls over Friends Privacy and Messaging Privacy.
